I can’t believe how real this little robot feels! It literally told me to enjoy my visit to the nail salon and that I will feel great! But anyway, yes, this YONBO robot will interact with the kids in a good positive way. It offers to play games and read stories. Endless possibilities! We haven’t used it for the 3.5 hours to drain the battery but my husband likes telling it to Go To Sleep so we can put it back on the charger. lol I love how we can select how to personalize the type of thinker/speaker the robot is too. It loves my cat too and is open to any good-quality safe conversation! The app XORIGIN AI keeps logs and alerts us parents to anything strange. There is even an included wristband to help command the robot and direct the robot’s movements (so it doesn’t stray). So excited to see everything else this little guy has to show us in the future!

I was a bit hesitant before buying this, worrying it might just be a gimmick, but it turned out better than expected. The interaction feels more natural than I thought, responses are quick, and it doesn’t sound robotic or scripted. After some use, it starts remembering common topics, which makes my child feel like it actually “knows” them. That really increased engagement . The emotion-aware responses are also a nice touch, charging based on my child’s mood. We mainly use it for chatting, storytelling, and simple questions, and it fits easily into daily playtime. It feels like a practical, engaging smart companion rather than just another toy.

I bought the Yonbo robot for my first child, Olivia. She’s very curious and always asks a lot of questions. Sometimes, I can’t answer her questions. Sometimes, I am too busy to communicate with her. I am looking for a nanny for her. But, It’s difficult to find a nanny that truly meets your expectations in a small town. My husband is a big tech nerd. He recommended that I can buy an AI robot for Olivia. That’s the reason why I bought Yonbo.The design of Yonbo is very cool, and I really like it. For her functions, she does a good job as a companion even though we cost almost half an hour to set up. After interacting with Yonbo for almost two weeks, Olivia is comfortable talking to her. I can hear that she asks Yonbo questions, chats with her. Olivia enjoys Yonbo way more than I thought she would.As for the built-in AI, it feels a bit limited. It works fine for simple conversations, but it struggles with more complex or follow-up questions. You need to give very clear instructions for it to understand you, which sometimes means being in a quiet environment. When Olivia is watching TV and suddenly has a question, Yonbo’s response isn’t always very good.” What’s more, I think Yonbo would be much cooler if it could work with more advanced AI systems like ChatGPT or Google Gemini, which would make conversations smarter and more natural.Another thing I hope to see in the future is better language support. Curerntly, Yonbo is only support English. One day, I hope that it can support multiple languages so it could help create a second-language environment at home for children. Ideally, Yonbo could even become a second-language teacher for kids.Overall, Yonbo has been a positive addition to our home. With smarter AI and broader language support in the future, Yonbo has the potential to reach more families.

This AI robot companion is a lot of fun. It was easy to set up and start using it. The robot has a cute and fun exterior that is engaging and captivates my child’s attention. The robot can adopt different personalities based on my child’s wishes. The robot is interactive and does a good job of engaging a user. The robot is mobile and comes with a number of games and songs. This AI robot looks and feels like it is well made and solidly constructed. This AI robot has been an engaging addition to my kid’s toy chest that is interactive and fun to have around.

The personality customization actually works, and it feels thoughtful rather than gimmicky.What really sold me is how fun it is for everyone, not just kids. My child plays with it daily, but I catch myself interacting with it too. It tells stories, responds emotionally, and keeps conversations interesting.
